Painting the Parking Areas - MOVE CARS

  • Oct 31, 2024
  • 2 min read

The Bridlewood Board of Directors has awarded a contract to Brothers Paving to restripe and number the parking spaces, as well as repaint the yellow curbs in the townhome section of the community and clubhouse.  This project will take place over three days, 11/11 – 11/13 starting at 8:30am until approximately 3pm.  Please note that parking and ingress/egress will be impacted during this project.

The curbs will be power washed on Monday, November 4th.  Vehicles do not need to be moved for this part of the project.

Striping Schedule:  Roads are closed at 8:30am and will be reopened as soon as complete and paint is dry(estimated 3pm). Each section will be closed on the following days:

  • Monday, November 11th– Filly Court, Shire Place, and the Clubhouse Parking Lots

  • Tuesday, November 12th – Gelding Place and 8474-8519 Tackhouse Loop

  • Wednesday, November 13th – Tackhouse Court and 8398-8470 Tackhouse Loop

IMPORTANT:  Vehicles must be moved no later than 8:30am on the day that the section is scheduled.  Please move your vehicle to another open section, the clubhouse parking lot(except for 11/11), or along the public roads.  Any vehicles not moved in time may be towed at the owner’s expense.

On previous occasions, we have applied a seal-coat to the asphalt before painting.  This time, we have been advised by several contractors that sealing would be a waste of money due to the age of the asphalt.  We will probably need to mill (dig up) and repave in the townhome areas in a few years.  We did not feel that the lines and numbers can wait, therefore we are painting now.

If you have tenants in your home, please ensure that you share this communication with them.

Thank you for your cooperation while we work to enhance the appearance and safety of the community.  Please contact Kelsey at ktaff@sequoiamgmt.com or by phone at (703)803-9641 with any questions.
